The app isn't properly cracked, all the pro features are not working. The latest version that works fine is 8.7.

Did some more testing. With the original NikAppCommon in place, the 'Nik 8 Collection Palette' plugin doesn't crash when starting Photoshop and filters can be opened normally. This is expected behaviour since the trial can be installed and run fine and requires this plugin to be loaded when Photoshop is launched. When the original NikAppCommon is replaced with the cracked one, the Nik 8 Collection Palette plugin crashes as soon as Photoshop is launched (can be seen in the Console of macOS). This prevents the filters from launching in the Photoshop filter menu since they depend on the palette plugin. Hope this helps MacKed team to identify the issue and release another fix. Will post the crash report separately.

If it doesn't work on Intel either, the problem might be connected to specific Photoshop versions. Hopefully, MacKed team will release a fix soon, really would appreciate the plugin working in Photoshop.

Have you installed it on a computer running an Intel or Apple Silicon processor? It looks like the plugins don't run on ARM system from Photoshop.

The problem is that we need a new crack that fixes the Nik Collection 8 Palette issues for users running Photoshop 2026 on Tahoe and Apple Silicon Macs. Terminal has full disk access and the problem is the same using the Terminal command or manually replacing the NikAppCommon.app.
