Okay i was able to run things, here are my exact steps to help other users:
1. move 3. Script Patch from the read-only volume to your desktop
2. run xattr -d com.apple.quarantine /Users/username/Desktop/3.\ Script\ Patch
3. run udo chown $USER /Users/username/Desktop/3.\ Script\ Patch
4. run chmod 755 \n/Users/username/Desktop/3.\ Script\ Patch
Additional steps to allow scripts ran on terminal to access and modify other applications:
1. Open your Mac's System Settings (Apple menu > System Settings).
2. Scroll down and click on Privacy & Security.
3. Scroll down the right side and click on App Management.
4. Find Terminal in the list and toggle the switch to ON. (Enter your Mac password if prompted).
5. Go back one menu to Privacy & Security, click on Full Disk Access, and toggle Terminal to ON there as well.
Now run step 4. again if it failed previously
