i'll share my experience, maybe it helps anyone: i've had some trouble activating the creative cloud. after using the 1.2.3. activation tool it would remain with both buttons (free trial and buy). it only worked when after using the activation tool at the creative cloud, i logged off my account and logged in again! after that i downloaded the apps i wanted and activated them using the 1.2.3. activation tool. you should keep the creative cloud installed for the apps to work.
