WORKS FOR THE LATEST VERSION (2.19.0.2258 as of july 16th 2026)
1. I launched Adguard uncracked once so that littlesnitch/lulu would look at the adresses. Here are the ones i blocked : adtidy.org, adguard.org, and any similar adresses (do not block the ones that goes to external websites, those do not interfere with the activation.
once that is done, wipe adguard from your system, and re-download it (do not install again yet)
2. Block host files adresses
Type "sudo nano /etc/hosts" in terminal, then add these four to the list. If confused, look up block host files on the internet
0.0.0.0 api.adguard.org
0.0.0.0 userscripts.adtidy.org
0.0.0.0 filters.adtidy.org
0.0.0.0 sb.adtidy.org

3. Install AdGuard.dmg, then close it from the menu bar
4.Apply Activation tool
5.It will no longer be in trial mode! Enjoy.
