Here’s the solution:
1. Open System Settings.
2. Scroll down and go to Privacy & Security.
3. Open Full Disk Access and grant Full Disk Access to Terminal.
4. Close Terminal and open it again.
5. Run this command:
sudo xattr -cr /Applications/Herd.app
6. Try opening Herd.app using right-click > Open (not double-click).
macOS may say the app is damaged again, but now:
7. Go back to System Settings > Privacy & Security. You should see a prompt asking if you want to open Herd. Click Open Anyway.
That’s it. Herd should open normally now.
