Every time app updated you must use Activation Tool again. So you can leave automatic updates until Activation Tool will keep work on newer version but after automatic update you will need to use Activation Tool manually. Or you can disable automatic updates and do it manually.

It means that you drag to Activation Tool the app that's not supported or drag to Activation Tool folder instead of app.

Just move main app to Trash before upgrade, then install new version and use patch.

You can use 1.2.2 for all time or just for download Neural filters. After download Neural filters with 1.2.2 you can switch back to 2.1.1 and they will work.

Adobe Downloader doesn't download Remove Tool models needed for Remove Tool to work (maybe I'm mistaken but I think so).

Can you show screenshot of those problems? And if you have ARM Mac maybe those plugins are Intel only?
