Bet Apple sets a fixed price (or price range) globally (despite the exchange rates keep changing), so it makes no difference if you go to a AASP in US or China.

If you don't care about the $$, go to Apple Store to replace an authentic one (usually around 1K!), or find any local repair store to get an OEM-like one (usually priced around 200-300+ plus labor). Mine was done by myself, got a replacement from online and DIY to install it, easy as piece of cake.

That says all, normally when a new MacBook has been used for more than 3 years, the battery drains dramatically. My last one was MacBook Air 17, and I've been using it till this year (almost 9 years!) and I only replaced the battery once (not original but similar manufacturer with same battery info I guess), and it still drains a lot even sometimes automatically shuts down. I guess that's the way Apple wants you to buy the authentic battery with shitty price, huh huh.
