Duh, Rosetta 2 itself does not directly damage or noticeably affect the lifespan or performance of a solid-state drive (SSD). However, in certain high-intensity or long-term translation scenarios, it may indirectly increase the SSD’s read-write activity, thus slightly accelerating wear — though this effect is negligible for ordinary users. So treat your MacBook as a tool, it's not your precious ones.
