Use 1.2.1 first, start Lightroom, apply a preset or AI mask, quit Lightroom and use 2.x. Now it must work I think. Or just use 1.2.1 on a permanent basis.

If you use Activation Tool v2.x then at app start you always will be logged out from account and until you quit this app you will not be able to login. You can try use Activation Tool v1.2.1 for one fo your Adobe apps version because it does not have this issue.

It's enough just to delete to trash folde /Applications/Adobe Lightroom Classic. No need to uninstall. And so on for other Adobe apps using Activation Tool.
